Vineyard Management

  • A holistic approach

Managing a vineyard involves various disciplines. I offer support in making and implementing strategic choices using a cross-cutting technical and economic approach: study of the terroir’s potential, product recommendations, adaptation of vine training methods, choice of protection strategies, etc.

Decision-making support

Whether you would like to create a new vineyard or receive help in auditing or developing your current vineyard (planting, restructuring), you will benefit from my expertise in making the right decisions. This service starts with the study of the terroir’s potential and the winemaking facilities in order to determine the types and quality of wines that can be produced. Viticultural practices and methods are then adapted to these wines, in keeping with economic imperatives The overview also focuses on protection strategies. These can work towards enhancing wines by obtaining different certifications, but they must be applicable for the vineyard. Certified organic production can ensure a better price and facilitate access to certain markets, but can prove risky if the vineyard is ill-suited to this change. As part of this holistic approach, a variety of components are taken into account, such as topography, climate, and mechanization capacity.
